Rise Somatic Therapy is a trauma-informed mental health practice that integrates psychotherapy with somatic and embodied approaches.
We help people understand how their experiences live in both the mind and the body, supporting nervous system awareness, safety, and reconnection.
Rise provides trauma-informed individual and group therapy for clients ages 12 and up, integrating modern psychotherapy approaches with traditional yoga practices to help individuals reconnect with their bodies and inner selves.
Our work focuses on healing, self-discovery, and honoring all parts of the self, strengthening intuition, and recognizing the body’s innate wisdom to support a fulfilling life. We create an inclusive, affirming space, especially for LGBTQ+ individuals, marginalized communities, and women who have experienced systemic oppression.
Our approach is client-centered, grounded in the belief that each person knows themselves best.We focus on helping clients regulate the nervous system, build distress tolerance, and reconnect with the wisdom stored in the body, supporting them in learning to listen to what their body needs.
Our work is trauma-informed, and we utilize both modern and traditional modalities, including EMDR (certified) and the Trauma-Conscious Yoga Method (trained), to guide clients in healing, self-discovery, and reconnecting with themselves. Ultimately, we walk beside clients as a guide, offering support as they uncover inner strength and move toward a more fulfilling life.
